Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had all the usual requirements one would need in the rooms, including a very comfy super king size bed, TV, coffee / tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, free Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with both bath and shower. The room was excessively hot due to the oil-fired radiator and its proximity to the restaurant/bar and stairs was not ideal; however, the quick response to the heating issue was appreciated.
The hotel room was a bit of a trek to access through the labyrinthine corridors, but once I got there, it was nicely laid out with plenty of space. The location was convenient for walking to the main street but had some noise issues. The dining experience was a bit chaotic due to a recent wedding, but the buffet had tasty options. The staff was friendly and helpful, although service was slow at times.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was away from the main bar noise, and the presence of convenient electric sockets was handy. However, the check-out time was a bit early for my liking. The service was good despite some confusion with the payment process. The location was quiet and cozy, with easy access to nice restaurants in Fleet. The dining options were satisfactory, though more variety would have been appreciated. Overall, a decent hotel for a stopover.
